How we work
- We come to you. Give us a call and we’ll be out to your place. Obviously you love the neighbourhood and want to stay there, so we need to understand the site very well.
- Look at all the options. We’ll talk about how much you want to change the property, and what that might cost. We’ll also be honest with you – it might be cheaper to rebuild. Kodesign’s sister company, GJ Gardner Homes can very quickly provide a fixed price to demolish and build new. But the final decision will be yours.
- Planning, planning and more planning. Our draughtsman will meet you on site and start turning your vision into an achievable plan, or you can have your own plans drawn up. Quickly we’ll put introduce you to the team who will be working on your project so that you can agree as much of the detail as possible well in advance of building.
- Finalise the price. Renovations can be tricky to price as there are sometimes unknown structural surprises that emerge once work begins. But we’ll do our best to give you accurate pricing, advising you to consider all aspects including landscaping. As the build progresses we’ll keep you fully informed so we can work through any variations together.
- Project management. Hands on or hands off, it’s up to you
